Job summary

LAUKOA seeks a Senior Logistics Readiness / SAV / Inspection Technical Instructor to support Staff Assistance Visits, government inspection activities, and surge requirements. You will train personnel, identify logistics weaknesses, and coach leaders and Soldiers in corrective actions.

Work will be at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, GA, with potential travel for readiness events. Active Secret clearance is preferred for onsite work.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of direct Army logistics/readiness experience; five+ years cross-functional experience preferred.
• Experience across multiple Army logistics functional areas.
• Experience with staff-assistance, readiness-assessment, or inspection-support activities.
• Ability to diagnose logistics issues and coach leaders and Soldiers on corrective actions.
• Strong briefing, technical writing, and reporting skills.
• Ability to teach adult learners and provide field-based coaching.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for reports, presentations, and trend analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead or augment Battalion-level Staff Assistance Visit teams.
• Provide cross-functional logistics support to commanders, leaders, and unit personnel.
• Support Division G4 Command Inspection activities.
• Assist Government inspectors with CIP, CSDP, CMDP, IG, and other inspection activities.
• Provide onsite technical support across logistics areas such as maintenance, supply, property accountability, GCSS-Army.
• Identify trends, recurring weaknesses, and systemic readiness issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare inspection-support briefings, point papers, reports, and trend products.
• Provide surge support during exercises, deployment-readiness events, or high-demand periods.
• Maintain distinction between SAVs and inspections: SAVs are coaching/assistance activities.
