LAUKOA is seeking a Senior Logistics Readiness / SAV / Inspection Technical Instructor to serve as a senior cross-functional field-support SME. You will guide Staff Assistance Visits, support government-led inspections, and coach leaders on corrective actions to improve readiness.

The role emphasizes briefing, technical reporting, and field coaching across maintenance, supply, and GCSS-Army functions. Onsite work at Fort Stewart/Hunter Army areas may require travel and after-hours support.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of directly relevant Army logistics/readiness experience; five+ years of broad cross-functional experience preferred.
• Experience across multiple Army logistics functional areas.
• Experience conducting or supporting staff-assistance, readiness-assessment, command-discipline, or inspection-support activities.
• Ability to diagnose systemic logistics issues and coach leaders and Soldiers on corrective actions.
• Strong briefing, technical-writing, and reporting skills.
• Ability to teach adult learners and provide field-based technical coaching.

Position Summary

The Senior Logistics Readiness / SAV / Inspection Technical Instructor serves as a senior cross-functional field-support SME for Staff Assistance Visits, Government-led inspection support, onsite technical assistance, readiness coaching, and surge requirements. The position helps supported commanders identify logistics weaknesses, trains personnel on corrective procedures, and assists Government inspection teams without acting as the Government inspecting authority.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead or augment Battalion-level Staff Assistance Visit teams.
• Provide cross-functional logistics assistance to commanders, leaders, and unit personnel.
• Support Division G4 Command Inspection activities.
• Assist Government inspectors with Command Inspection Program (CIP), CSDP, CMDP, Inspector General (IG), and other command-directed inspection activities.
• Provide technical support across multiple logistics areas such as maintenance, supply, property accountability, GCSS-Army, equipment records, unit movement, arms rooms, and driver-training operations.
• Identify trends, recurring weaknesses, and systemic readiness issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare inspection-support briefings, point papers, reports, fact sheets, trend products, and out-briefing slides.
• Provide onsite individual, section, or unit-level technical assistance.
• Backfill or support classroom instructors during overlapping requirements when technically qualified.
• Provide surge support during exercises, deployment-readiness events, or high-demand periods.
• Maintain strict distinction between assistance visits and inspections: SAVs are coaching/assistance activities, and contractor personnel assist Government inspectors rather than serving as the Government inspecting authority.

Required Qualifications

• At least three years of directly relevant Army logistics/readiness experience; five or more years of broad cross-functional experience is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience across multiple Army logistics functional areas.
• Experience conducting or supporting staff-assistance, readiness-assessment, command-discipline, or inspection-support activities.
• Ability to diagnose systemic logistics issues and coach leaders and Soldiers on corrective actions.
• Strong briefing, technical-writing, and reporting skills.
• Demonstrated ability to teach adult learners and provide field-based technical coaching.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications used for reports, presentations, trend analysis, and training products.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior brigade, battalion, division, corps, or equivalent logistics leadership/staff experience.
• COMET, CSDP, CMDP, CIP, IG, SAV, or comparable evaluation/assistance experience.
• Broad experience spanning maintenance plus one or more of supply, property accountability, movement, driver training, arms rooms, HAZMAT, or GCSS-Army.
• Prior Team Chief, senior instructor, senior logistics advisor, or comparable role.
• Graduate of ABIC, FIFC, CTC, or equivalent DoD/TRADOC instructor training.
• Active Secret eligibility/clearance.

Security and Installation Access

Active Secret eligibility/clearance is anticipated to be required for onsite personnel at contract start, subject to final Government requirements. The selected candidate must also be able to satisfy installation-access, background-investigation, CAC, and Government information-system access requirements applicable to the position.

Work Location and Schedule

Work will primarily be performed at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. SAVs, inspection support, readiness events, and surge requirements may require work outside normal core duty hours or occasional mission travel. Final travel requirements remain subject to the final solicitation.
