Job summary

CEVA Logistics in the United States is seeking an experienced operations leader to oversee multiple departments within our logistics and transportation network. You will guide teams, ensure seamless execution of transportation, customs, and warehouse activities, and uphold compliance with regulatory requirements for imported and exported goods.

The role emphasizes staff development, process improvements, and collaboration with the Operations Manager to drive planning, budgeting, and performance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with at least four years related experience.
• One year of supervisory experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics or Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee three key operational departments and ensure process alignment across areas.
• Partner with Operations Manager on daily operations, budgeting, cost control and performance analysis.
• Coach, mentor, and develop employees and team leads to foster accountability and growth.
• Lead staff meetings to review performance and drive improvements.
• Address performance issues promptly according to company policies.
• Participate in employee retention efforts and support training initiatives.
• Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external partners.
• Review and validate shipping documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Calculate duties, tariffs, conversions, and weights for international shipments.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous process improvements.
• Establish and uphold policies related to customs clearance and warehouse operations.
• Lead or participate in departmental projects tied to improvements.
