Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is seeking a Senior Operations Supervisor to lead hourly associates and oversee daily logistics activities, including driver deliveries, loading/unloading, cross docking, and customer service. Qualifications

2–4 years of relevant operations experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Regular, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
Willingness to travel and pass background/drug screening.

Responsibilities

Supervise logistics operations including customer service, freight loading/unloading, dispatch and documentation control.
Evaluate and improve work methods to increase dispatch/warehouse productivity.
Assist in new hire training and cover operational duties when staff are absent.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and manage overtime to meet productivity targets.
Align day-to-day activities with the site safety strategy and regulatory requirements.
Plan work assignments to optimize fleet/warehouse equipment utilization.
