Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking an Sr. Operations Supervisor to lead hourly personnel and oversee driver deliveries, loading/unloading, cross docking and customer service activities aligned with cost objectives.

Responsibilities include supervising scheduling, reviewing routes and performance, enforcing safety and compliance, and driving continuous improvement to boost productivity and service levels while managing discretionary decisions and coaching for the team.

Qualifications

• 2 - 4 years related functional experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelors Degree preferred.
• Strong written/oral communication and organizational skills are required.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate performance standards that are specific and measurable, Interview hourly associates and provide recommendations for hire, Monitor attendance, productivity, and other performance markers and provide counseling and/or recognition to associates as needed.
