Job summary

Ryder in the United States is seeking a Manager Logistics to oversee the efficient operation of accounts, with P&L responsibility, customer satisfaction, and safety. This role is part of a Fortune 500 logistics leader offering training, a 401(k) match, and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities include managing salaried and hourly staff, payroll, analyzing P&L, handling accounts payable and invoicing, and leading safety meetings. A bachelor’s degree and several years in logistics are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience leading both salaried and hourly staff.
• Collaborate with senior management and customers to meet account needs.
• Payroll responsibility experience.
• Ability to analyze weekly/monthly P&L statements and report findings.
• Handle accounts payable, vendor quotes, and customer invoicing.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the performance of employees and ensure policy compliance.
• Collaborate with management and customers to meet needs and expectations.
• Oversee payroll processing for staff.
• Analyze profitability and provide weekly operations reports to leadership.
• Manage AP, vendor quotes, and customer invoicing processes.
• Hold Safety & Security meetings and provide safety training.
