Job summary

Penske Logistics in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking an experienced Senior Operations Supervisor to lead drivers and hourly staff across daily tasks, from loading to customer service, ensuring efficiency and cost objectives. Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of related functional experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate performance standards that are specific and measurable.
• Interview hourly associates and provide recommendations for hire.
• Monitor attendance, productivity and other performance markers; provide counseling or recognition as needed.
• Supervise logistics operations including customer service, freight loading/unloading, dispatch and documentation control.
• Evaluate and implement changes to improve dispatch/warehouse productivity; train new associates and provide coverage when needed.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies; manage overtime and productivity targets.
• Align daily activities with safety strategy; provide training and direction for safe performance.
• Collaborate to meet location-specific customer goals and drive continuous improvement.
• Plan work assignments to optimize fleet/ warehouse equipment use.
