Job summary

Hut 8 is seeking a Logistics & Expediting Manager to own inbound logistics, freight, and delivery scheduling for major data center equipment. You will ensure on-time arrivals of transformers, switchgear, generators, and chillers, with no surprises on critical-path items.

The role requires 6+ years in project logistics, hands-on heavy-haul experience, and strong vendor expediting and freight management skills.

Qualifications

6+ years in project logistics, traffic, or expediting for major capital projects.
Hands-on heavy-haul experience: permits, routing studies, escorts, and rigging interfaces.
Vendor expediting: factory milestones, FAT logistics, ship-date tracking.
Freight/Carrier management: terms, insurance, OS&D, customs for intl. equipment.
Strong scheduling instincts and P6-driven timelines.

Responsibilities

Own inbound logistics plan for major equipment: transformers, switchgear, generators, chillers.
Plan heavy-haul routing and permits, escorts, and site delivery windows.
Run expediting on critical-path POs and coordinate factory visits.
Select and manage freight forwarders and carriers; handle customs when applicable.
Maintain delivery lookahead with Materials Manager and site teams.
Resolve shipping damage, shortages, and mis-delivery with documentation.
