Job summary

Hut 8 Corp. seeks a seasoned Planner/Scheduler to own and optimize the integrated schedule for a data center build, spanning engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

You will drive weekly progress with field teams, baselining, and critical-path storytelling to leadership, ensuring delivery commitments align with project milestones. The role requires 6+ years on large capital projects, expert Primavera P6 skills, and rigorous schedule quality checks.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of planning/scheduling on large capital projects; data center, power, or heavy industrial strongly preferred.
• Expert-level Primavera P6: multi-thousand-activity programs, resource loading, baseline management.
• Schedule quality rigor - DCMA-style health checks, logic auditing, and avoidance of open ends and soft constraints.
• Experience integrating and challenging contractor and vendor schedules, defending your critical path against theirs.
• Commissioning-phase scheduling experience in mission-critical delivery a significant plus.
• Strong analytical and narrative skills: leadership reads your critical-path story, not the XER.
• Regular site presence during construction and commissioning peaks (typically 25-50%).
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the integrated Schedule Ownership across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning with realistic logic.
• Run the progress cycle: field walk-downs, progress capture, and monthly re-baselining governance.
• Analyze critical and near-critical paths, float erosion, and slippage drivers; model recovery options.
• Integrate and interrogate GC/EPC and major vendor schedules and hold partners to schedule commitments.
• Build Level 1-5 commissioning schedule with field leaders and protect it from construction compression.
• Produce schedule health reporting: lookaheads, milestones, float consumption, and critical-path narrative.
