Trax Inc. seeks a Cost Allocation Architect within Professional Services to design, develop, and test the business rules that allocate freight invoice costs from our platform to client ERP systems.

You will translate complex cost structures into auditable allocation logic and clear functional designs for finance and IT stakeholders. This role requires strong SQL, ERP knowledge (SAP/Oracle/Dynamics), process modeling, and ability to work with client finance, supply chain, and IT teams to

• Experience in a technical consulting, implementation, or business analysis role within logistics or freight audit.
• Understanding of GL posting and cost object structures in ERP systems.
• Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel for data validation and rule testing.

Responsabilidades

• Lead discovery with client finance, supply chain, and IT stakeholders to gather cost allocation requirements.
• Document current and future state processes and translate into testable specifications.
• Design end-to-end cost allocation architectures mapping charges to GL accounts and cost centers.
• Perform QA testing on allocation rules and document improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain functional design documents and data mapping specs.
• Collaborate with Product/Engineering to prioritize enhancements and write acceptance criteria.
• Validate data exchanges between platform and ERP systems (EDI, XML, API).
• Provide SME guidance on best practices for cost visibility and reporting.
