Job summary

GLOVIS America Inc. is seeking a Senior Analyst for the West Coast W&D team based in Rancho Dominguez, CA. The role coordinates inbound ocean transportation for auto parts into U.S. manufacturing plants, handling documentation, deliveries, and customs processes.

Responsibilities include daily customer coordination, schedule monitoring, trucking coordination, billing accuracy, and AR/AP management, with a focus on efficiency and cost control across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5 years of experience in freight forwarding, supply chain, logistics, and/or customer service.
• 4–7 years of experience in freight forwarding, supply chain, logistics, and/or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide ocean inbound operation services and customer services.
• Daily coordination with customers & inquiries; follow-up on urgent trucking.
• Monitor/update ocean inbound schedules and notify vendors of documents.
• Coordinate trucking, dispatching, tracking, and detention/pre-pull cost prevention.
• Coordinate warehousing, storage, and final delivery to customers' facility.
• Manage AR/AP and ensure accurate billing.
• Prepare settlement reports, reconcile data, and manage aging invoices.
• Month-end data entry, rate coding, and operation system updates.
