Qualifications

• State license in appropriate trade is required.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, repairs, and replaces mechanical and electronic locking systems across county facilities, including high-security areas.
• Fabricates and duplicates keys; maintains key records and adheres to key control policies.
• Diagnoses malfunctions in locks and security devices and performs repairs or replacements as needed.
• Maintains keying system and access logs; ensures integrity of master key systems.
• Responds to emergency security issues, including after-hours as needed.
