Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with an active Oklahoma locksmith license.
• Minimum three years of combined experience in locks and doors as a locksmith.
• Must pass background checks and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Function as Locks and Doors Journeyman coordinating with Journeymen, Foreman and Apprentices.
• Ensure implementation of International and BOCA building codes and local/state codes.
• Maintain keying databases and master key systems with security records.
• Train staff on the Schlage Everest restricted keying system.
• Install, repair, and service mechanical/electrical locking devices.
• Secure price quotes and assemble procurement information for projects.
• Maintain fire door logs per NFPA 101 and assist with budgeting/planning.
• Interpret blueprints and operate word processing and spreadsheets.
