Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Three years’ experience in locks and doors; locksmith license in good standing with OK Department of Labor.
• Must pass criminal and vehicular background checks and possess and maintain a current Oklahoma motor vehicle license.
• Must be able to perform essential duties as a Locks & Doors Journeyman.
• Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a varying number of employees in the Locks & Doors section; coordinate with Foreman and Apprentices.
• Work in confined spaces and at heights up to 110 feet; follow state and local codes for locks and doors.
• Maintain keying systems, databases, and spreadsheets; manage master key codes.
• Train administrators, faculty, and staff on keying systems and safety procedures (NFPA Life Safety).
• Install, repair, and service locking devices; troubleshoot and replace worn components as needed.
