Job summary

Midwest City - Del City School District Maintenance in Oklahoma City is seeking a Journeyman – Locks & Doors to supervise a varying number of staff, coordinate tasks, and ensure timely completion of maintenance projects across district facilities.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, a current Oklahoma motor vehicle license, and at least three years of locks-and-doors experience with an active Locksmith Technician license; strong code knowledge, blueprint reading, and NFPA Life

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must clear criminal and vehicular background checks.
• Must possess a current Oklahoma motor vehicle license.
• Minimum of three years’ locks and doors experience as locksmith.
• Licensed and in good standing as Locksmith Technician (OK DOL).

Responsibilities

• Supervise a varying number of employees in department tasks.
• Coordinate and complete maintenance work with Journeyman, Foreman, Apprentices.
• Maintain keying databases, codes and spreadsheets for district locksmithing.
• Train staff on keying systems and NFPA Life Safety compliance.
• Install, repair, and service mechanical/electrical locking devices.
