Job summary

PA Building Supply, a Division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking a Store Operations Manager to lead daily store activities across sales, service, purchasing and manufacturing, ensuring productivity and profitability for a location typically generating $15M to $30M in annual sales.

You will train and supervise managers, oversee inventory, safety programs, budgeting and cost controls, and foster strong customer relations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of management experience in related industry.
• Knowledge of building industry and distribution operations.
• Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily store activities and resolve operating difficulties.
• Assign, instruct, train and direct managers and supervisors.
• Review personnel assignments and align with production/sales plans.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient material availability.
• Oversee sales activities to maximize profitability and customer value.
• Serve as safety officer and attend safety meetings.
• Develop work schedules and ensure on-time delivery/completion.
• Review reports on sales, expenses, labor and operations.
• Ensure preventive maintenance on equipment and adherence to schedules.
• Resolve customer issues and ensure satisfactory outcomes.
• Manage costs and implement cost controls.
• Perform personnel management duties including hiring and training.
• Coordinate workflow between departments and maintain customer relations.
• Prepare location budget and review variances.
