Job summary

You will lead a team of Core Specialists and Escrow/Insurance Portfolio Specialists, provide training, maintain data accuracy, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations while collaborating with internal departments and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• 5–7 years of loan servicing experience required.
• Leadership, mentoring, or workflow coordination experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of loan servicing regulations and investor requirements.
• Experience with servicing platforms and industry systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Loan Servicing Core Specialist team and coordinate coverage.
• Serve as SME for complex servicing activities including bookings, escrow, PMI, and modifications.
• Ensure accurate setup and integrity of loan data in the core system.
• Oversee processing of payments, payoffs, adjustments, and renewals.
• Develop procedures, job aids, and regulatory updates; communicate changes.
• Conduct team meetings, coaching, onboarding, and professional development.
• Identify improvement opportunities; escalate issues for root-cause resolution.
