Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited university preferred.
• 5+ years with education or 9+ years with requisite experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assess customers' financial needs to provide mutually beneficial solutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients in Victoria and surrounding markets.
• Understand cash-flow principles to evaluate deals beyond surface level.
• Submit applications to credit analysts and assess creditworthiness of potential borrower; determine or recommend approval/denial.
• Approve or refer loans according to lending authority.
• Remain informed of market trends, loan products, and regulatory changes.
• Refer cross-sell opportunities by becoming knowledgeable about other bank products.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless loan process and exceptional customer experience.
• Maintain a robust referral network in the local banking community.
• Represent the bank at community and networking events to enhance visibility.
