Job summary

Security State Bank & Trust (SSB&T) in New Braunfels, TX, is seeking a Loan Officer to develop and manage customer lending relationships while originating, structuring, and maintaining quality loan portfolios.

Reporting to the Regional Presidents, you will meet with borrowers, analyze financials and credit, coordinate closing, and ensure compliance with Bank policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree in finance or related field.
• 2–3 years of banking experience preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks and pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage lending relationships across loan types.
• Gather, review, and analyze financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, collateral information for underwriting.
• Coordinate with Credit Administration, Underwriting, and Loan Operations through closing.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with bank policies and applicable lending regulations.
