Job summary

DBEDC, based in Boston, seeks a Senior Loan Officer to drive underwriting and credit decisions for small business and community development loans. You will lead credit analysis from intake to final memorandum and collaborate with Loan Officers to create strong loan portfolios that advance economic mobility in Dorchester Bay’s priority communities.

Qualifications

8 years of progressive experience in small business lending, commercial lending, CDFI lending, or community finance.

Responsibilities

Underwrite complex small business and community development loans from initial review to fully documented memorandum.
Conduct cash flow analysis, debt service coverage, and financial statement reviews.
Prepare credit memoranda with risks, mitigants, and recommended structures.
Present recommendations to Credit Officer and Director of Lending.
Ensure documentation meets lending standards and timelines.
