Job summary

Cambridge Savings Bank is seeking a Senior Corporate Banking Loan Officer to lead complex commercial lending relationships across New England. You will originate new business, assess credit, structure facilities, and manage ongoing loan quality with a focus on risk mitigation and client service.

Based in hybrid roles with a Waltham, MA footprint, the position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10–15 years of commercial lending experience in New England.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of lending regulations, underwriting standards and proper loan documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct a focused calling and business development program for lower middle market companies.
• Review loan applications, interview applicants and request necessary information, such as financial statements to evaluate loan requests, manage, structure and negotiate credit terms.
• Present relevant data for approval and recommendations to SVP, Corporate Banking Team Leader, for all new lending opportunities.
• Identify emerging portfolio risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Cross-sell other Bank services plus corporate service (i.e., Treasury Management).
• Manage existing loan portfolio to ensure credit quality and to minimize loan losses.
