Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Senior Loan Officer role based in Las Vegas, NV. The Senior Loan Officer will originate residential mortgage loans, guide clients through the loan application process, and provide clear explanations of available loan products and terms. Daily responsibilities include assessing borrower eligibility, collecting and reviewing financial documentation, coordinating with underwriting and processing teams, and ensuring loans meet regulatory and company guidelines. The role involves maintaining strong customer service standards, managing a pipeline of active files, and communicating proactively with clients, real estate partners, and internal stakeholders. The Senior Loan Officer is also expected to contribute to business development efforts through networking, referral relationships, and local market outreach.

Qualifications

• Loan origination and Loan Officer experience, including managing a loan pipeline and closing residential mortgage transactions.
• Finance and underwriting knowledge, with the ability to analyze income, assets, credit, and collateral within regulatory and investor guidelines.
• Customer service skills focused on clear communication, responsiveness, and building long-term borrower and partner relationships.
• Familiarity with mortgage loan products, compliance requirements, and industry-specific software or LOS platforms.
• State-appropriate mortgage loan originator (MLO) license and NMLS registration in good standing, or eligibility to obtain them.
• Demonstrated ability to work on-site in Las Vegas, NV, collaborate with local team members, and support branch growth objectives.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in documentation and file management.
• Previous experience as a senior-level or high-volume Loan Officer is preferred; background in residential mortgage lending is highly beneficial.
