Job summary

Dime Commercial Bank is seeking a Senior Documentation Closing Specialist at its Long Island headquarters. The role oversees the preparation and review of commercial loan documents, coordinates closings, and ensures compliance through the closing process.

Responsibilities include due diligence, document preparation with Laser Pro and MS Word, and collaboration with Borrowers, Legal Counsel, and Loan Officers to deliver accurate loan packages for booking.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience with Loan Documentation.
• Laser Pro or equivalent experience required.
• Advanced multitasking, time management, and organizational skills.
• Keen attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with financial systems such as Fiserv Premier or Sageworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Closing Pipeline: manage own closing pipeline and update status for management.
• Document Management: create/maintain closing folders and ensure complete records.
• Due Diligence: review credit approval, collateral, Insurance Acords, KYC.
• Document Preparation: use Laser Pro and MS Word to prepare loan documents.
• Closing Coordination: coordinate closings with borrowers, counsel, and loan team; use DocuSign.
• Compliance: ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Loan Funding: verify funding details and approvals before funding; manage escrows.
