Job summary

New American Funding is seeking a Senior Loan Accounting professional to oversee daily loan-level accounting for funding, purchases, and warehouse reconciliations. This role will manage month-end close, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations, while supervising and developing a team of loan accounting specialists.

The candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 5+ years in accounting, 3+ years in mortgage banking, and strong proficiency with mortgage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 3+ years in mortgage banking or residential lending accounting and 2+ years supervisory.
• Proficiency in mortgage accounting software, LOS, and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities
