Job summary

Tailored Brands, Inc. is seeking a Senior Leaves Specialist to support our Benefits Leaves of Absence team. You will manage new LOA claims, run reports, and coordinate with employees, managers, HR and partners throughout leaves.

You will review policies for legal compliance, drive process improvements, conduct LOA audits, and respond to vendor requests while ensuring HIPAA confidentiality and accurate system updates. Dublin, CA hybrid work and remote options available.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of work experience as a coordinator or administrator.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must be detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to learn quickly and exercise good judgment.
• Flexible with a team-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently, multitask and provide timely follow up.
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Experience with PeopleSoft is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administration of new leave of absence claims, including running reports, identifying discrepancies, and updating systems.
• Maintain communications with the employee, manager, HR and partners during the leave.
• Review policy manuals to conform with laws and best practices.
• Implement process improvements to resolve inefficiencies and address pain points.
• Provide feedback to peers and support team growth.
• Perform LOA audits for clients and provide recommendations.
• Research and respond to LOA vendor requests.
• Lead and facilitate Interactive Process meetings with disabled employees and accommodation discussions.
• Resolve disability and leave management issues within the department.
• Ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, PFL, STD, LTD, and related regulations.
• Organize and maintain HR files and perform administrative duties.
• Manage LOA email and voicemail and respond promptly.
• Run wage report requests from internal and external partners.
• Oversee return-to-work communications and system updates.
• Research employee data and provide updates as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee records and HIPAA compliance.
• Perform other LOA administration functions and projects as needed.
