Job summary

City of Charlottesville is seeking a Training & LMS (Sr. Human Resources Analyst) to administer the City’s LMS, coordinate trainings, and lead learning initiatives for staff.

The role includes new employee orientation, program development, and evaluation of training effectiveness. The position requires a relevant degree and several years of experience in training administration, with preferred LMS experience such as SAP SuccessFactors and strong vendor collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Experience administering or implementing trainings or similar programs.
• Knowledge of LMS platforms and learning content management.
• Ability to evaluate training needs and align programs to goals.
• Strong communication with vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Administrates the City’s online Learning Management System (LMS).
• Delivers New Employee Orientation and coordinates training programs.
• Develops and leads training workshops and curricula.
• Maintains LMS data integrity, tracking, and reporting.
• Works with vendors and universities to develop programs.
