Experience Senior Living is seeking an Assistant Director of Health & Wellness to lead the Wellness team and oversee resident care in a senior living community. You will supervise nursing staff, coordinate care plans, and ensure regulatory compliance while guiding staff training and performance.

The role requires strong nursing leadership, budgeting acumen, and the ability to manage complex resident needs with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Licensed nursing professional with state licensure and compliance.
• Experience in Assisted Living or related residential care setting.
• Ability to supervise and train staff across care teams.

Responsibilities

• Participates in pre-admission screening and ensures required documentation is complete.
• Monitor adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Oversee budgeting for Wellness resources and department staffing.
• Ensure safety regulations, infection control, and quality assurance.
• Supervise documentation for monthly resident billing and care changes.
• Coordinate care plans and caregiver communications with families.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance appraisals for Wellness staff.
• Support regulatory inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Recruit, select, and onboard caring care team members.
