Job summary

Carefield Castro Valley is seeking friendly dining staff to take and serve meal orders, assist in setting up dining areas, and ensure cleanliness before and after meals.

Qualifications

• Ability to take and serve meal orders courteously
• Able to stand, stoop and bend frequently; lift up to 50 pounds; push up to 50 pounds
• Strong communication with kitchen staff and residents

Responsibilities

• Take and serve meal orders from residents in a courteous and professional manner
• Assist in setting up dining areas, including arranging tables and ensuring cleanliness and organization before and after meals
• Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate meal service
• Ensure all serving areas are stocked with necessary supplies
• Be adaptable and cross-train in dining and kitchen roles
• Withstand heat from cooking area and cold from below-zero freezer
