Royal Oaks Retirement Community in Sun City, AZ seeks a Transportation Coordinator to manage resident transportation needs, dispatch drivers, and coordinate daily logistics while assisting with driving duties as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in a driving or scheduling role, a valid driver's license and CPR/First Aid within 30 days. Part-time schedule with 7:00am-3:30pm shifts. Training on Worxhub and strong English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Word/Excel, Outlook, and Internet.
• Able to work with spreadsheets and scheduling software.
• Independent with good judgment.
• English communication with staff, residents, and guests.

Responsibilities

• Schedule transportation requests from residents and staff in Worxhub.
• Dispatch drivers to ensure timely pickups and communicate delays.
• Greet residents and guests, provide directions and campus information.
• Maintain trip data, track charges, coordinate with Accounting.
• Provide transport to hospitals, appointments, shopping, and outings.
• Maintain radio contact with dispatcher and ensure vehicle readiness.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
• Ensure seat belts and wheelchair safety; assist with transfers when needed.
• Follow safety rules, policies, and incident reporting procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
