• Must have a valid state driver’s license.
• Must obtain or maintain a current DOT Physical/Medical Examiner’s Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and tracks vehicles for usage, ensuring availability when needed.
• Assists with transporting residents and staff, including those in wheelchairs.
• Helps maintain the daily transportation schedule.
• Enters transportation trips into the work order billing system.
• Prepares driver schedules and monitors requests for changes.
• Handles on-call duty as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Provides training on wheelchair securement and safe driving practices.
• Assists with minor vehicle repairs as appropriate.
• Performs additional duties to ensure efficient department operations.
