Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state driver's license; CDL may be required per state.
• Passenger endorsement (if required by state).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable transportation for residents to various locations.
• Assist residents in and out of the vehicle, using wheelchair lift or stairs as needed.
• Ensure resident safety and satisfaction are priorities during trips.
• Prepare the van/bus for operation and coordinate maintenance as needed.
• Maintain current vehicle licenses, inspection tags, and insurance cards.
• Follow traffic laws and transportation safety procedures.
• Assist in resident programs and activities as needed.
• Build positive relationships with residents through friendly interactions.
