Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Driver to transport residents safely to appointments and activities. You will assist residents with boarding and deboarding, manage mobility aids, and ensure a friendly, courteous experience while upholding high safety standards.

The role emphasizes reliable community transport, vehicle readiness, and respectful engagement with residents, with opportunities for growth within a resident-focused organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid state driver’s license and passenger endorsement as applicable by state.
• Minimum 3 years driving history with a clean record.
• Experience driving passenger vehicles, preferably in healthcare or senior living settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable transportation for residents to appointments, activities, and outings.
• Assist residents in and out of the vehicle and manage loading/unloading of mobility aids as needed.
• Ensure resident safety and satisfaction, maintain vehicle readiness and cleanliness.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance and ensure proper documentation for state requirements.
• Build positive relationships with residents and provide courteous, respectful service.
