Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in North Easton is hiring a full-time Nursing Home Cook to prepare meals for patients and residents, following standardized recipes and therapeutic diets.

Weekend and two weekday shifts run 11a-7p or 12p-8p, with weekly pay at $17.50 per hour. Join our team to deliver nutritious, safe, and appealing meals in a compassionate setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public
• Knowledge of dining service procedures, related laws, regulations, and guidelines
• Ability to lead and supervise professional and non-professional personnel
• Ability to maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, and work areas
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper serving temperature of food
• Maintain visual appeal of food
