Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in North Easton is seeking a motivated Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare food per standardized recipes, maintain safe serving temperatures and a clean environment, and contribute to excellent patient care.

Responsibilities include following therapeutic diets, ensuring food temperature, maintaining visual appeal, portion control, and adherence to sanitation policies.

Qualifications

• Cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Make independent decisions when needed.
• Interact tactfully with residents, families and staff.
• Know dining service procedures, laws and guidelines.
• Lead and supervise staff when required.
• Maintain supplies, equipment and work areas.
• Be patient, tactful, cheerful and enthusiastic.

Responsabilités

• Follow therapeutic diets ordered by physicians.
• Ensure proper serving temperatures of foods.
• Maintain visual appeal of prepared dishes.
• Monitor daily nourishments and follow recipes.
• Ensure proper portion control.
• Adhere to sanitation and storage procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
