Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in gerontology, social work or related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience providing social services.
• In-depth knowledge of issues affecting the elderly.
• Understanding of legal liability issues in elder care services.
• Strong written and verbal communication and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with agencies and nonprofits to provide resident services.
• Plan educational programming, wellness seminars, and on-site events.
• Serve as liaison with medical providers and community agencies.
• Maintain resident files and HUD regulatory reporting.
• Create resource directory for the community and assist with move-ins.
