Job summary

Silver Tree Residential, LLC in Gallatin, TN is seeking a dependable Resident Service Coordinator to join our community team. You will build relationships with residents, coordinate services, and partner with local agencies to support aging in place.

The role requires a bachelor's in gerontology or social work (master's preferred), plus at least three years of social services experience. Strong communication, organizational skills, and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in gerontology, social work or related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience providing social services to elderly.
• Must understand legal liability issues relevant to social services.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to educate and advocate for vulnerable adults.
• Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in MS Office and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with agencies and nonprofits to assist residents.
• Link and develop educational programming, wellness presentations and on-site events.
• Serve as liaison with medical/professional services providers and community agencies.
• Report abuse, neglect or exploitation in accordance with state statutes.
• Maintain resident files per HUD and STR requirements and prepare HUD reports.
• Create and maintain a resource directory for the community.
• Assist residents with transitions into and out of the facility.
• Attend apartment inspections with Community Director and plan improvements with residents.
• Develop monthly calendar and site newsletter with input from staff.
• Participate in home visits to engage prospective tenants in the service coordination program.
