Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking Service Coordinators to advance better living and care for seniors. This part-time role supports a Gates Junction senior community in Columbus, OH, coordinating residents’ programs and connecting with local service providers to improve access to care and services.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field and 2+ years of delivering social services to elderly or families, with strong advocacy and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field preferred.
• Two or more years of experience delivering social services to elderly and/or family populations preferred.
• Working knowledge of supportive services and local community resources.

Responsibilities

• Advocate, organize, problem-solve and deliver results for residents.
• Coordinate programs and activities for residents.
• Liaise with community agencies and seek out services for residents; negotiate discounts where possible.
