Job summary

Cedarbrook Senior Living is seeking a friendly Server to assist residents and staff with meal service. Responsibilities include taking accurate orders, knowledge of menus and specials, and delivering meals promptly while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

The role requires excellent verbal and written communication, basic safety knowledge, and the ability to stay organized and proactive in a busy dining environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal, written and listening skills.
• Basic knowledge of safety and sanitation.
• Be self motivated, organized and able to problem solve situations.

Responsibilities

• Receive and deliver accurate orders to and from residents and supervisors.
• Must be knowledgeable and confident about the menu, daily specials, and food preparation.
• Handle special requests and menu related questions with accuracy and promptness.
• Expedite, carry, and deliver multiple plates of food efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure health, food, and safety codes and regulations are implemented at all times.
• Execute opening and closing duties pertinent to scheduled shift.
• Provide and promote a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
• Knowledge of all menu items, specifications of ingredients, portions, and procedures.
• Work calmly and effectively under pressure.
• Perform pre-bussing/bussing of tables timely and consistently.
