Job summary

Cedarhurst is seeking a Dining Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences for residents and guests. The role supports daily meal service, assists with food preparation, and collaborates with team members to uphold Cedarhurst's dining standards.

Responsibilities include taking orders, keeping areas clean, adhering to food safety guidelines, and communicating menu details to residents and families. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to two years of prior experience preferred, with senior living experience strongly desired.
• Relevant state or county licensure preferred, with ability to obtain licensure if required.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, EHRs and HR-related platforms.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders and serve residents and guests courteously.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow food safety standards.
• Clear, reset tables and complete daily checklists for dining areas.
• Assist with dining area cleaning after meals and events.
• Communicate menu details to residents and guests.
