Job summary

Ivy Park at Glen Cove, part of Oakmont Management Group, seeks a Server to provide friendly dining service in a premier senior living community. You will take accurate orders at the POS, serve residents and visitors, and help maintain a clean, welcoming dining area.

Experience is welcomed but not required; candidates must be 16+. A health screen, background check, and ability to work with seniors are essential. This on-site role offers benefits and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Vaccination and PPE requirements per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Accurately and professionally take residents' and guests’ food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS.
• Set up and break down (bus) tables.
• Assure compliance with all proper serving techniques/etiquette.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
