Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Server to provide friendly, courteous dining service to residents, families, and visitors. The server will take and enter orders, set up and clear tables, and maintain proper etiquette while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires a willingness to work with the elderly, a high school diploma or equivalent, and training will be provided if needed. This position supports a team-focused dining services operation on site in California.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents, and families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including TB tests.
• COVID-19 safety measures may be required.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Accurately take residents' and guests’ food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Set up and break down tables.
• Ensure proper serving etiquette and techniques.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers and other departments.
