Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Server for a premier senior living community in California. The role involves friendly, courteous dining service to residents, families, and visitors, with responsibilities around taking orders, delivering meals, and maintaining a pleasant dining atmosphere.

The position requires at least 16 years old with a work permit and includes benefits; shifts are 11:00am–7:30pm on weekends with some weekday rotation.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not required; training provided.
• Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Written and verbal communication with residents, families, and staff.
• Criminal background check and health screening required.
• Vaccination/testing and PPE may be required for health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and guests professionally and courteously.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter into the POS system.
• Set up and break down bus tables.
• Adhere to proper serving techniques and etiquette.
• Maintain a safe, clean dining area and assist in kitchen areas as needed.
• Collaborate with team and other departments to ensure resident satisfaction.
