Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Server for its senior living dining operations. The role focuses on friendly, courteous service to residents, family members, and visitors, with accurate order taking and POS entry.

You will set up and break down dining areas, follow proper service etiquette, and uphold safety standards to create a positive dining experience. The position emphasizes teamwork, customer care, and adherence to health and safety protocols in a supportive senior-living

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents, and their families.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Vaccination and PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, courteous manner.
• Accurately and professionally take residents' and guests’ food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS (point of sale computer).
• Set up and break down (bus) tables.
• Assure compliance with all proper serving techniques/etiquette.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
