Job summary

Oakmont Management Group operates Oakmont of El Dorado Hills, a premier senior living community, and seeks a Server to deliver friendly, courteous dining experiences and support both dining and kitchen areas.

The role emphasizes serving residents, taking accurate orders, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment. Training will be provided, with benefits and a culture focused on care and community.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents, and families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests including TB tests.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Take residents' and guests' food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Set up and break down tables.
• Maintain proper serving techniques and etiquette.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork with co-workers and other departments.
