Blacksmith Agency is seeking an SEO Strategist for Senior Living to own search for a portfolio of senior living clients, including technical roadmap, content priorities, and ranking strategy. You’ll guide the strategic voice at client discussions and drive decisions.

The role focuses on technical SEO, keyword strategy, content priorities, and AI-assisted drafts, with a strong emphasis on multi-location and local search.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO with audits and fixes.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
• SEO for senior living or multi-location businesses is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.
