Blacksmith Agency is seeking an SEO Strategist, Senior Living, to own search for a portfolio of senior living clients. You will define the technical roadmap, content priorities, and the ranking narrative when clients ask what moved. You’ll be the strategic voice at the table, making the calls.

You will oversee technical SEO, keyword strategy, and content priorities in collaboration with writers and AI. You’ll optimize for AI search alongside classic results, manage local and multi-location SEO,

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO and able to run audits and fixes independently.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Experience with managing multiple clients in an agency setting.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
• SEO for senior living or multi-location businesses is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO aspects: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, and site architecture.
• Lead keyword strategy, on-page optimization, and content priorities with writers and AI collaboration.
• Improve discovery for clients in traditional results and AI search environments.
• Coordinate links, local search, and multi-location SEO as needed.
• Deliver GA4 and Search Console reports and define quarterly roadmaps per client.
