Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an SEO Manager, Senior Living to own search for a book of senior living clients. You will manage the technical roadmap, content priorities, and ranking story, acting as the strategic voice in client discussions.

You will drive technical SEO, on-page optimization, and AI-assisted content alongside writers, while coordinating local and multi-location SEO efforts and client reporting. Strong English on live calls with US clients is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: audits and fixes yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
• SEO for senior living or similar multi-location businesses is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.
