Job summary

Rappahannock-Westminster-Canterbury in Irvington, VA is seeking a Security Patrol Officer to safeguard residents, staff, and property within a peaceful senior living community.

You will patrol grounds, respond to alarms, assist residents and visitors, and coordinate with emergency services when needed. Schedule: every other Friday and Saturday, 3pm-11pm, with a compassionate team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Excellent observation and communication skills.
• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods in all weather.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Calm under pressure with quick decision-making.
• Professional, respectful, empathetic with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the community grounds, buildings, and parking areas regularly
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies
• Assist residents and visitors with directions or concerns
• Collaborate with emergency services when required
• Conduct safety checks and report hazards or maintenance issues
• Assist Front Desk personnel
