Job summary

Woodleigh Chase by Erickson Senior Living seeks a Security and Emergency Services Officer to patrol and safeguard the community in Fairfax, VA. You will respond to non-emergency dispatch calls and assist in emergencies, while ensuring resident and visitor safety and adherence to life safety standards.

The position offers a flex/PRN schedule with no guaranteed hours, starting compensation of $19–$21 per hour, and bi-weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Prior security experience preferred.
• Ability to interact professionally with residents, staff and visitors.
• Ability to document daily activities clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior patrols of buildings and grounds.
• Conduct life safety inspections and OSHA-related checks.
• Receive non-emergency calls from dispatch and respond timely.
• Assist in community emergencies (fires, severe weather, evacuations).
• Screen vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering the community.
• Document visitors and vendors; issue parking passes and maps.
