Job summary

Westminster Canterbury Richmond seeks a dedicated security professional to support campus wide safety and emergency preparedness. You will assist the Security Manager and Director of Courtesy and Security Services in safeguarding residents, staff and visitors while coordinating training and response activities across the community.

• 1 year security officer experience in hotel, hospital, or health care facility.
• Valid Driver’s License in the State of Virginia with minimum age 21.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification within 6 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Assist Manager of Security with staff scheduling and interviews.
• Ensure all Security Officers Training Requirements are met.
• Oversee daily assignments, monitor performance, and coach as needed.
• Secure buildings, check alarms, monitor CCTV, and report hazards.
• Respond to emergencies and lead investigations into incidents.
• Coordinate security, fire, and safety programs; train residents and staff.
